A Civic Journey
for every NC Student
The 100 Points Project brings together students from high schools and universities across North Carolina to make a lasting impact in their communities and across the state. In each of North Carolina’s 100 counties, a team of students collaborates to research, evaluate, and recommend a local nonprofit for funding. They present their proposals to foundation leaders and funding partners—advocating for the causes they believe in. Along the way, students are mentored by nonprofit professionals, scholars, and experts in philanthropy, gaining valuable insights into how foundations and nonprofits operate.
The goal? To create a new generation of advocates who understand the power of voice, community and giving.
Every community has potential. Every student has a voice. Every foundation has the resources. The 100 Points Project connects all, one county at a time.
We work to empower young people across North Carolina to be active participants in shaping their communities by connecting students, nonprofits and funders for meaningful, local impact.
